Overview and Scrutiny
The overview and scrutiny of health is an important part of the Government’s commitment to place patients and the public at the centre of health services. It is a fundamental way by which democratically elected community leaders may voice the views of their constituents and require local NHS bodies to listen and respond. The trust keeps the Overview and Scrutiny Committees of Lancashire informed of its plans.
The trust reported on progress on its Mental health matters investment programme to the Lancashire County Council Overview and Scrutiny Committee (OSC) on July 24, 2007. The report included a full set of actions to be monitored by the OSC. Click here to view the report.
