Local information - North Lancashire (Lancaster and Morecambe)

Two public meetings (afternoon and evening) were held on Wednesday, November 7 at Lancaster Town Hall. More than 100 people in total attended the two sessions.

Presentations were made by senior people from Lancashire Care NHS Trust, Lancashire County Council and North Lancashire Primary Care Trust (PCTs are the organisations that plan and buy health services). These presentations were about local issues such as travel times and the availability of public transport to each of the possible sites.

List of possible sites
There are four possible sites for North Lancashire (Lancaster and Morecambe). These are listed below along with the information presented at the actual public meetings. The aim of this information is to help you to make your decisions on how you wish to vote.

N1 – Royal Albert Fields, Lancaster


N2 – Ridge Lea Hospital, Lancaster


N3 – Wyresdale Road, Lancaster

N4 – South Lancaster
